An overview of our history
1985 – 1989
In 1985, the company was registered in the commercial register under the name of Uwe Rihm GFK-Modell- und Formenbau..
The first productions of GRP fuselages started, from three moulds we initially produced fuselages for the company Multiplex at first daily. As the demand of his time was very high, three more moulds were produced after a short time, so that six moulds could be used in production every day. After the end of the first business year, other well-known companies such as WIK Modelle, Johannes Graupner Modellbau, Simprop and Robbe joined us with the desire to produce fuselages. Companies such as MHM Modellbau and Blue Airlines followed, so that our capacity was initially exhausted.
1990 – 1994
The rapid development has led us to take over the Kulpecompany in the early nineties. Thus, we added the first four of our own aircraft to our company portfolio. Within a very short time, models like the Grob 109, two versions of the Cap 21 and the Airlifter followed.
1995 – 2004
The company increasingly expanded its production spectrum with industrial orders, so that industrial production became a permanent mainstay. These include, among other things, numerous orders in the drone construction sector, which are used for military reconnaissance purposes.
We also took over the range of Bruno Rihm Modellbau, which added eight models to our production portfolio. Simultaneously, we have already developed further models of our own.
2005
In 2005, we decided to change our name to Paritech GmbH. This name is still relevant today and has become indispensable in the model making industry, also due to the international reputation of the name, which enjoys a more than good reputation worldwide.
Another milestone in our company history was the production of the BAE Hawk for the two-time jet world champion Stephan Völker. At that time a new world championship machine, which with a wingspan of 2.5 m, on a scale of 1:3.75 was even larger than the Quaterscale class and yet weighed less than 20 kg. An absolute novelty at that time, which set new standards.
2006 – 2018
During this period, we, as Paritech GmbH, built up the largest product portfolio on the model construction market with a large number of newly developed gliders, sports jets and detailed scale jets. These include the models ASH 31, ASW 20L, DG 1000 S, Jodel Robin, Quintus and T-2C Buckeye.
An important step towards quality assurance of our company followed with the certification according to DIN ISO 9001-2008, which we were the first model building company in Germany to carry out. Currently we are certified according to DIN ISO 9001-2015.
Among others, we took over the company EMS in 2008 and further models of the company Windwings in 2018.
2019
At the Jet Power 2019 we presented, together with the Red Bull Aerobatic Team, consisting of Robert Fuchs, Sebastian Fuchs and Tim Stadler, the new Alphajet XXXL (scale 1:2.58) as a highlight of our company. After we were allowed to build two of these models for Robert Fuchs, we took it into our portfolio and expanded our product range to 43 models.
In 2019 we integrated the company WF Modellbauzubehör in addition to the model aircraft production and thus ensured the continuation of the long proven Willi Fingerle landing flaps.
To this day, we can be found every year at the most important trade fairs and flying days, including ProWing, the gliding fair and Jet Power. Our Paritech team pilots demonstrate the diversity of our model range in numerous air shows.
